How to build a Tractor

How to make your tractor using a Stickibox Tractor Kit:

What you will need:

1 Stickibox Tractor Kit

1 Roll of Green Craft Paper

1 Roll of Black Craft Paper

1 Sheet of Yellow Card

Felt Tip Pens

Scissors

Spray Glue

Glue Stick

Step 1: Cover The Box

Make your Stickibox cardboard box by following the instructions inside the pack. Once the box is constructed, measure out a 580mm x 360mm rectangle on the green craft paper and cut out. Duplicate this so that you have two rectangles of green paper to cover the sides of the box.

Next, measure out a 360mm x 360mm square on the green paper and cut out. Duplicate this so that you have two squares to cover the ends of the box.

Spray the long side with spray glue and carefully apply the green paper. Continue this around the box so that all sides are covered.

Step 2: Attach the wheels

Colour in the rims of your tractor tyres. Remove the cardboard wheels and steering wheels from the sheets and attach to the box using the rivets provided.

Step 3: Make and attach your grill

Take a piece of black craft paper and measure out a 300mm x 410mm rectangle. Cut it out and then cut the corners so that they are slightly rounded. Attach to the front of the box and wrap around the sides.

Step 4: Attach the number plates

Using a black felt tip pen, write a name on the number plates and attach to the front and back of the vehicle

Step 5: Attach the headlights

Take the sticker sheet with the headlights and colour around the lights with a yellow pen. Once coloured in, simply attach to the front of your tractor.

Step 6: Make and attach your tractor badges

Take the two circle shaped stickers and draw the outline of your logo/image. We used an image of wheat found via Google Images. Colour in the two badges and attach them to the sides of your tractor.

Step 7: Add your detail

We chose to add a yellow stripe to the sides of our tractor. Choose whatever detail you would like to add and have fun customising your tractor.

Step 8: Start your engines!

If you would like to drive your tractor, carefully remove the base of the box along the perforated lines. Jump inside and start your engines!
